So I'm kinda disappointed about the RCMP job. I got a call this morning and a woman told me that they forgot to call me earlier to ask where I would want to be stationed. What she means is, if I would rather be stationed in Corner Brook or Holyrood. I said I am living in St. John's, so Corner Brook is out. She then asked if I would have transportation to Holyrood, and I said no, because I don't. She was like..."oh...". Fucks sake. Anyways, she said I'll get a call from them regardless in the next couple of weeks, cause training starts late June. Zuhhhh...? Confusing. And stooooopid. Why can't they just station me in St. John's? Arrgggg. You'd think if they were "...so desperate to have more aboriginal representation in the police force" then they would be able to accomodate their applicants in different areas, especially seeing as how the RCMP has a HUUUGE building here in St. John's. Meh, whatever.
I got an interview on Thursday with the city for their youth camp thing. I sorta wanted to take a break from working with kids for this summer, not because I don't like it, but because I want to try something different. It sucks though, because it seems like for all the interesting jobs, I need a vehicle. Ughh. I guess I can't really be picky, even though I would rather shovel shit than work in retail or in a restaurant. No offence to anyone that does who loves their job, it's just not for me at all. I hope I get an interview with the Green Team.
Good news: I got my shirts in the mail.
I also bought a gym membership for the summer with The Works. Me, Angie and Mike went over there yesterday for a little while. It was fun times, man. I felt so refreshed afterwards, and I'm not sore today at all. We are going again on Wednesday I do believe. |

I still have another class that is an hour and 15 minutes long. Gah. I'm also going to run to Dominion after I'm done class so I can get a few things. I'm sure I'll survive.
